going strong with the autumn theme!

by

Today was that day of the month.

And I mean my monthly nail salon appointment ♥ I have been having gel nails all the time for about the last two years, because first: my actual nails are so horribly weak and I always wanted to have nicely manicured nails, which last a little longer than 2mm, and second: Japan just has the cutest nail designs!!

So I gave up on matching my nails to my daily coordinates and instead try to match my wardrobe to my nails for the next month. Okay, just kidding, but I like how changing my nail designs once a month gives me new inspiration on how to coordinate my clothes in new ways! And after beach-y shell decorations and dreamy sunset colors for the whole summer, I felt like going straight for the autumn feeling I’m praising the past weeks, and went for royal blue, bordeaux red and tortoise shell patterned nails in combination with gold parts! I was inspired by my recent gold-rush and this wonderful tortoise shell comb I treasure – and my nailist understood what I wanted quite well!

      thank you♥
& I always go to March in Shinjuku! They are super cheap and their pricing system is really easy to understand, basic sets with one color and 2 nails with as much decoration as you want is 3800 in gel on your own nails and 4800 with gel extensions! all art you want them to add is extra, but they have about 6 different choices each month, where you only pay the base price and can still change colors and the parts they are using!
