minimal, but still with quite some detail!

by

This weekend we were greeted by the sun and lovely warm autumn weather, so – short skirts are back. So I tried to wear something out of my closet that had been getting not as much attention as it actually deserves during summer and opted for this kutch work skirt from Zara.
I’ll just ignore the fact that in the evening it actually got quite cold and I caught a minor cold again. I cannot stress enough how much I dislike this transition season when you cannot be sure how many layers you need to wear to not be too cold or too hot. My wardrobe is not fitted for this layering madness!

And my sister just told me she doesn’t like my shoes with this outfit. I know, I know – I would like to wear cute shoes all the time too, but sadly I was out for a day of walking around and about – hunting down the perfect shade of blush for fall make up – so I just chose the most comfortable option I had besides bright orange sneakers and silver all stars… I retrospective, maybe I should have gone with my all stars…

On a different note: I didn’t find that perfect shade of blush that day – but today!

      Thank you very much!♥
Sadly I forgot about it most of this summer, so it didn’t really receive all the love it deserves… :'(

Amazing pattern on that skirt! I love there multiple color patterns. You can combine them with any color and look great.

So true! thank you for the idea! My go-to coordinate rule is just combining everything with black or white or anything in between – now you really made me curious to try the skirt with a bright red shirt or sweater! Thank you!! ♥

Thank you very much!! Greetings back from Tokyo!
I guess you can imagine how thrilled I was when I found that necklace! It combines exactly the same colors as the skirt and before I knew it, it was in my shopping bag 😉

      So trueee!! :'(
It’s so hard to find nice flats though, all flats I have are either boots, ballerinas or moccasins – and neither looks good with shorter skirts :'(
still searching for a nice option here…
