simple autumn look in pastel pink

Last weekend I went to Shinjuku Gyoen, a beautiful national garden right in the center of Shinjuku district – and as it happened, I was there just about when the nicest lighting of the day hit – Golden Hour.

Especially in autumn, I love Golden Hour. The warm light just about an hour before the sun goes down goes so well with the typical natural autumn colors – and my better half thought the timing was just about right to snap a little #ootd.
Usually we were there, because I wanted to take some photos of the beautifully colored autumn leaves, so I only had my macro lens on me, not my usual 80mm, which resulted in some very different snaps than usual!

As for my outfit – I didn’t plan on taking photos of it and mostly I was just wrapped up in a layer of warm, comfy and vintage.
I bought the light pink sweater recently at Shel’tter from moussy, and it’s incredibly warm and cozy and might become my holiday sweater of choice – even though it lacks a hideous pattern or print.
