about to take off

by

Just landed in Dusseldorf, Germany, a few minutes ago!

I’m going back home to Hamburg over the holidays and now I have some hours of overlay to kill. So what better timing could there possibly be for me to write up a little #ootd – the photos have been sitting on my desktop for a week already, so it’s time!

My strategy in winter in order to still be able to wear skirts without my legs turning blue, is to stock up on heat-tech items. Uniqlo offers great heat-tech items, which will keep you warm, even though the shirts, leggings and tights are made of super thin fabric. I am actually always freezing when on airplanes, so I am wearing a heat-tech shirt under my sweater and leggins under my jeans right now too!
In the all-Scotch and Soda outfit in this post I incorporated heat-tech items all over – tights, fleece lined short shorts and a shirt under the pullover. Together with my warm goa parka I kept warm all day, even though it started snowing lightly in the evening that day!
