So this year is starting really low… at least for the blog.
And this is, because… I was accepted into Bunka Fashion College and had to deal with all the not so fancy things a student-to-be has to deal with. But anyway, I’m in and very excited about going back to school.
Or let’s better say visiting my family at home.
I always loved my hometown Hamburg, but it was not until I moved to Tokyo that I realised Hamburg is quite some special place with a very unique cityscape and character. Ever since then, it always breaks my heart to leave my family and the city behind when I have to leave again.
This time I was only able to visit for 10 days, which was not enough time for all the things on my list at all, but still very intense – with all the holiday stress, the Christmas drama and the family quarrels I could have wished for! And I’m not even exaggerating – I just hope this year will be better! ♥
On the 26., which still counts as Christmas in Germany, we had wonderful, clear and cold weather, so me and my sister Claudia decided to have a walk around the Aussenalster and Binnenalster Lakes – a walk of around 10km I would guess!
It was -6 to -4°C all day, but despite the cold, it was still the best way I could have possibly spent this peaceful day. Love my sister! & she even tried to take some blog-appropriate photos of me with my 60D – not that easy with an all manual prime lens…
There will probably be more parts to this trip, because I felt not all the photos I want to show fit together in one post very well.0
