Going ‘sporty’ with silver All Stars

IMG 3146

I’ve had these silver Adidas Originals Super Stars in my shoe cabinet for a while now.
To be precise, probably for a year or so, but never really felt sporty enough to actually wear them much – and to be honest, I only bought them because I wanted to try that sneaker thing everybody was talking about after Chanel’s haute couture show in the beginning of last year… exposed fashion victim.

It took a little while for me to get used to wearing sneakers again, but it is just so comfortable, I am a total convert for some months now! First  Even thinking about getting some Stan Smiths soon, because with these bold silver Super Stars, I’m a little bound to silver accessories…

What do you think? Are you with me on the sneaker wave?

Good for you wearing the sneakers! I love pretty, textured sneakers.

I have bought sneakers in the past and thought, I will wear them like all the cool fashionable people do…! But I never felt sporty enough either, plus I’m short and lacking in the leg department, sneakers just don’t do anything for me.

Last year I finally accepted flats as a thing I can wear in public. At least in Japan, I’m not always the shortest girl around. Maybe this year I can find courage for sneakers.

OMG Story of my life!!! <3 <3 <3
I can relate to that SO much, I'm only 1.58m with short stompy legs and usually fat shoes do absolutely nothing for me…
But I figured it sometimes works to make up for the missing heels with longer pieces on top, for example a long coat or top, or anything that will break up the proportions a little bit! 😉
