February Favorites!

MG 3387

It’s the end of the month, which means it’s time for my favorites!
I normally planned to go on about how happy I am, because with the beginning of March my university preparations start and I think I already listed a few of the great things happening in March in this post – but that all got messed up a little so I won’t get to start most of the fun things planned next month for another two weeks.
Anyway, let’s start with my monthly selection!

Volupté Tint-In-Oil
I am a huge fan of Yves Saint Laurent make up – I am even planning a little post on my collection – and compared with excellent Japanese marketing and customer service, ever since I started living in Tokyo, I am in YSL Beaute heaven! Once you get a members card you will get all information on new products and sometimes samples and invitations to events per post!
And I remember when, in the beginning of January, Cara greeted me in my mailbox and I got super excited because the Card said Volupté Tint-In-Oil would finally be released in Japan! I think the rest of the world had them in stores a little earlier.
I decided on No. 5, a rich pink, which is also the one used on most PR material! But I seriously cannot wait to try other colors too! The transparency combined with the vividness of the colors is something I have never seen in any other product before! Also is the color quite lasting and because of the oil, my lips have never felt more smooth as when applying Tint-In-Oil!

CHANEL Rouge Allure and Rouge Allure Gloss
The next thing on the list is actually a great combination of two – again – lip products! My favorite color of the moment is pink – so I guess it’s not much of a surprise my lips are tinted the same tone most of the time recently. I actually got these two back when I was in Germany over the holidays, but I only started really using them in February.
Rouge Allure in No. 94 EXTATIQUE is a super vivid and lightly shimmery pink with a lot of blue undertones and a slight blue holographic effect, which initially made me interested in the color. It’s such a mesmerising shade, because it somehow manages to be warm and slightly cold at the same time.
I like using Rouge Allure Gloss in No. 14 INNOCENT over it, which is a very cute and basic rosy shade with rather thick complexion, because mixed together the two become a wonderful pink, which is not too much the center of attention, which is especially important for when I’m at work.
When I leave the Gloss out, I get super Barbie pink lips, which are great for the weekend and probably a night out!

Imprestion – Assorted Chololate Creations
This was an incredibly sweet farewell gift from one of my co-workers – which I feel bad for receiving already, because now I’m staying at the company for a little longer that everyone thought.
Nevertheless I couldn’t resist these beautiful treats and had one of each kind for tea time today! – Hey, it’s Saturday, I need my 30 minutes of relaxed tea time, even though I didn’t really have tea, but coffee.
But these little delicious works of art were indescribably delicious! One was milk chocolate with assorted nuts and the other one was bitter chocolate with candied and dried fruits, both were divine!
I need to find this shop.

2月の My Favorites!

YSL Beauteのティント・イン・オイル
シャネルのRouge Allure & Rouge Allure Gloss
Rouge AllureはNo.94のEXTATIQUE。

That Chanel lippie is so pretty. It looks like a great everyday lipstick and probably even good for date night as well! Great post – thanks for sharing.

It has this really subtle blue hue in it, which makes it really stand out too, so it's perfect for Spring! 🙂

      Thank you for visiting!
But be careful, copy-pasting the same content over and over again (quick google search), only ends with your comment going right into everyone’s spam boxes – like it did in my case 😉

I think it always depends on the product and your skin type, but I totally agree with you when it comes to their Liquid Foundation, most of their baked Eye Shadows and Nail Polish…
On the other hand, the regular Eye Shadows, Compact Foundation with Sebum Control, Highlighter and Blushes have always worked for me and I’m still searching for a Mascara better than Chanel’s 🙂

Anyway, thanks for stopping by <3
