Recap: All about February

It’s the beginning of March – and it’s time for a February round-up!
Beware, this time there’s so much more to see than in the January post. That’s mainly because I figured I don’t post enough on Instagram, even though I take a lot of photos I usually took with the thought in mind of posting them there later – and then I always forget… But, let’s see what happened in February!

I can’t wait for it to get warmer, so I can take these cuties for a walk!
The day I got my most used item of February – the Snood!
Chanel Rouge Allure in No. 94 – also made it into my February Favorites!
The best self-cooked Sunday breakfast I can imagine!
1 Banana, 1 Egg, 1 Tablespoon of Oatmeal, blend & you get PANCAKES!
08 2
Delicious and super cheap Italian Pizza between Waseda University and Takadanobaba!
Margherita Pizza for ¥380, Tonno for ¥720! Just to let you know: Pizza can be crazy expensive in Japan…
Valentine’s Day was just around the corner!
09 2
This day in the evening I went to dinner/have more pizza with my Tokyo Blogger girls!
I should have taken photos that day…

And after having dinner, Madeleine and me did some nerdy Karaoke with lots of songs we thought we’d already forgotten.
I’m a Starbucks addict. Basic, I know… But I can’t help it and sometimes walk up to Gaienmae-Starbucks to get a Coffee and a Sandwich for lunch to take back to the office.
Finally Tint-in-Oil was released in Japan and I’m a super huge fan of it already!
But before I got my hands on it, I went all coral with my favorite coral YSL-combo!

Friday before Valentine’s Day at work.
I made cupcakes for all my coworkers and wore this kiss-print dress (which didn’t make it’s debut on the blog yet…)

And I was surprised by one of my dear coworkers with a super cute present and a lovely letter!
She only started working at the company I’m working at in the beginning of January, but she’s a wonderful person!

This was Valentine’s Day!
Can you believe my better half was dressed much more for the moment than I was? But at least he loves patterns as much as I do!
The Tint-in-Oil release day!
I picked up LOVE as well. Actually for the first time in what feels like ages. Quality has become a lot better somehow, even though it was really good to start with, but WOW – the Kardashian-Jenner Clan is ruling that mag! I’m not saying that’s bad or anything, but a tiny bit more variety would have been nice.

Outfit coming to the blog next!! Love this dress to pieces!

My friend Justin held an exhibition in Daikanyama!
We’ve been together in college and since then he’s continued to shoot awesome photos!

Another thing I meant to mention on my blog earlier.
My friend Justin and me are actually producing this little line of T-shirts. I don’t know where this is headed yet, but we’re working on a website and more collaborations with different artists! So far we only made 2 shirts, one with the label’s logo Native of Nothing and one with a design a very talented artist drew in collaboration with us.
I’ll probably write a proper post about this once the project has a bit more direction.

Now and then I realise I have thousands of unfinished projects sitting in my hard drive… Here is one bit of a project that I came up because of this pile of photos I need to work on is only growing bigger and I feel as if I’m loosing the connection to some of the photos…
Wonderful memories from when I toured through Kenya for a month 1,5 years back.
You can see the whole series on my Website.
And the last photo of February – simple breakfast on the go, aka mashed Avocado on Toast with Chicken and Crema di Balsamico.
So this was my February! How was yours? And what are you looking forward to in March?

Aww just love everything in this post. I love my life but seeing this makes me want to jump into your skin for a day. At least live within walking distance of a Starbucks and to have your wardrobe. xD Looking forward to your next post!

P.S. – Super excited to hear about your business! Love to see the tees, plus the brand name is on point.

I live about an hour outside of Sendai, so the city is in reach, but most days it’s just back and forth to work in the seaside. Last week I discovered the closest Starbucks on my day off, still a 40 minute drive, but at least it has parking!

I may be heading to Tokyo to visit the consulate soon, I’d love to see your storefront while I’m there! Is it open and available?
