Looking back at these photos I feel so lazy… I shot them more than a month ago and only made my way through them now… If I can participate the next Fashion Week here in Tokyo, I will definitely make more use of the press lounge and the high speed internet they have there – I only did sit down there a few times this time and… you see where that ended: Realtime? What is that?
Anyway, KBF. Their invitation card was a little vinyl bag, which I found really cute – and it said I could bring a friend with me, so Joseph joined me for this one (go check out his YouTube, it’s super fun!)
KBF is a very popular brand of chain shops in Japan and can be found in most malls aimed for women in their late 20s to 30s. Very casual clothing, but also some pieces that can easily be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion, and a few streetstyle ready pieces – all for very reasonable prices.
Their show was the last one of the day in the big hall and it had a grass walk, very apocalyptic looking house front and a lot of smoke.
The clothing presented was very casual, with earthy tones, white and navy as the main colors on the palette and a few other drops of color sprinkled in here and there.
Their long and flowy dresses (like the one above) were my favorites.
