I guess you all know this feeling: too much to do, not enough time for everything, hitting your limits.
For me that’s always a sign to reboot and nourish my body and brain with easily accessible energy – Smoothie Time!
So I won’t talk much and just go ahead and share my favorite Smoothie Recipe with you today!
I know, so hipster.
- 1 ripe Avocado
- 1 ripe Banana (it should have some brown sugar spots already!)
- 150g Cucumber
- 2 green Kiwis
- Splash of Lemon Juice
- 50~100ml Almond Milk (you can also use regular Milk, Coconut Water/Milk, Water, just anything to add a little liquid!)
- optional: Coconut Flakes
Depending on the power of your blender, cut the Avocado, Banana, Cucumber and Kiwi and blend with a little bit of Lemon Juice until smooth.
Then gradually add the liquid of your choice until the mix reaches a consistency that is thick and creamy, yet runny enough to drink it.
I like to sprinkle in some Coconut Flakes, place the mix in a glass and sprinkle some more Flakes on top.
And there you go, 100% Energy to bring you back up!
What I also like about this recipe is that you can easily tweak it into a dessert perfectly fit for the Summer!
Just add Greek Yoghurt instead of liquid and a little bit of Vanilla Essence! Place in your freezer for about two hours and enjoy a bowl of refreshing and healthy ice cream!
