Kick off the new Week with this Energy boosting Smoothie!

I guess you all know this feeling: too much to do, not enough time for everything, hitting your limits.

For me that’s always a sign to reboot and nourish my body and brain with easily accessible energy – Smoothie Time!
So I won’t talk much and just go ahead and share my favorite Smoothie Recipe with you today!

Green Smoothie
I know, so hipster.

The Recipe

  • 1 ripe Avocado
  • 1 ripe Banana (it should have some brown sugar spots already!)
  • 150g Cucumber
  • 2 green Kiwis
  • Splash of Lemon Juice
  • 50~100ml Almond Milk (you can also use regular Milk, Coconut Water/Milk, Water, just anything to add a little liquid!)
  • optional: Coconut Flakes

 

Depending on the power of your blender, cut the Avocado, Banana, Cucumber and Kiwi and blend with a little bit of Lemon Juice until smooth.
Then gradually add the liquid of your choice until the mix reaches a consistency that is thick and creamy, yet runny enough to drink it.
I like to sprinkle in some Coconut Flakes, place the mix in a glass and sprinkle some more Flakes on top.
And there you go, 100% Energy to bring you back up!

What I also like about this recipe is that you can easily tweak it into a dessert perfectly fit for the Summer!
Just add Greek Yoghurt instead of liquid and a little bit of Vanilla Essence! Place in your freezer for about two hours and enjoy a bowl of refreshing and healthy ice cream!

今日は最近よく飲んでるエネルギースムージーを紹介したいと思います♫

最近日本にもついに流行してるグリーンスムージーね!

1 アボカド
1 バナナ
1 きゅうり
2 キウィ
レモン汁少々
50~100ml アーモンド乳 (お好きなものでもいいです! 牛乳、豆乳、ココナッツウオーター、お水、など)

お好みでココナッツフレーク

材料を全て切って、レモン汁と一緒にブレンダーでスムージー状になるまで混ぜます。
飲めるぐらいの状態になるまで少しずつアーモンド乳を追加します。
お好みでココナッツフレークやトッピングを追加し、出来上がり!♥

一瞬で作れるので 朝ごはんの代わりにもオススメです!

    Love a good smoothie! I have yet to try kiwi in a smoothie but I’ll have to give it a shot. Also, your blog title — is that even possible?! Learned something new. I adored Tokyo when I visited, but it was just a quick stint.
