Get ready with me PART1

IMG 5580

I made another video!

Or better, I actually made two, because the whole thing became too long and I made an first and second part.

This is the long promised, never fulfilled get ready with me type video I meant to make since quite a while ago… The first part is mainly about my daily make up routine, while the second part will focus on how I do my hair. I have to be honest, it took me so long, because I never really showed my whole bare face anywhere and I rarely – if not never – leave the house without a good coat of make up because I this is who I am. But anywhere, I am clearly not the first person to do this kind of video, so I figured I should give it a try!

Let me know what you think!

久々にビデオを撮ってみました! 今回もまだ日本語の字幕とかないんですが これから是非日本語の動画も撮ってみたいなーと思います。

今回はパート1でメイク中心です。 もしよかったら観てみてください♥

Beautiful! That finishing powder from Maquillage shiseido has the most prettiest packaging I’ve ever seen ♡

      Thank you, Elsa! ♥
& That powder really is one of the most beautifully designed things I ever saw! I actually received it to test it, so I’ll post a review (and probably a thousand pictured of the beautiful packaging) soon!

Thank you so much for sharing! I am really interested in your make up reviews too. In the States I did all my shopping at Sephora and that was easy, but when I shop here at the drug store, I am so unsure about products and what works well.

I only recently started using setting powder and I only found one uncolored one at Yamazawa drug! I will search for the Snow Beauty one though, the smoothing finish looks so pretty.

I also learned about oil lip tint! I need this in my life! Using oils in my moisturizer and foundation has become very important and I dislike my lips, I never use more than a clear gloss because colors are usually unnatural and get flaky on my dry parts. I will add this to wish list of things to try.

Again thanks for sharing, I look forward to part two! I had no idea about clipping bangs the way you did, the way I do it always creates a bump, I will try this!

Thank you SO much for taking your time to watch it and write up this long comment! ❤️

I will definitely make more reviews in the future! I guess videos are an easier way to describe and show something rather than just through text and photos!
& a review for the Snow Beauty powder is already in the making! It will be on sale on September 21., I was lucky enough to get one early to monitor. But here is the website and apparently you’re able to preorder! This really is the best transparent powder I have used so far so 100% recommended! (also: look at that package design )

Lip Oil is also something I really recommend! I’ve only tried the ones form YSL so far, but am super happy with them! The tint is super sheer and stays on forever too!

I just uploaded the second part earlier today too!
The bang-clipping works so well for me! If you try it, let me know how it goes! Once I take the clip out, my bangs are almost perfect for the day!

Cute and useful post! I’ll need to find a dupe for the YSL foundation, though, because ¥6500 is a bit steep for me. Know of any drugstore or cheaper brands that could be similar? Thanks for always posting such great posts!

Thank you so much Jennifer! ❤️

Until now I haven’t come across something similar to the YSL foundation; it has this indescribable liquid-y texture and once you start blending it’s gone!
But as for another great foundation: I also really like the BB Creams from Etude House! Super moisturising and the cost performance is beyond words!
