Sretsis Labyrinth Secret Party @ Sretsis INN

Yesterday on 8/30 super popular Thai brand Sretsis finally launched their Autumn/Winter Collection, titled Labyrinth (with a lot of influence from the David Bowie movie Labyrinth). I already talked about this beautiful collection back when it debuted, opening Tokyo Fashion Week earlier this year, read here.

To celebrate the collection hitting the shops, Sretsis closed their flagship shop Sretsis Inn in Aoyama for the whole day on 8/29 and hosted a secret party to introduce a large part of the collection to a select audience a little earlier. I was super happy to be invited to this magical event, because I loved the collection from the second the first few looks walked down the runway back in March and I was more than excited to see the pieces up close.

As expected the clothes were beautifully crafted and a few of the fabrics were breathtaking. There is so much detail put into this collection, it is incredible and a real treat for the eye and of course whoever gets to wear these beautiful pieces.
I was also very lucky to get to talk to one of Sretsis’ team ll who came out for the event and it was super interesting to hear about the collection’s development process and a few hidden details – as for example hidden logos within patterns! I truly would have never noticed!

The event itself was magical as well. The rooms of the Sretsis Inn were decorated with flowers just as the runway was and the whole atmosphere felt like an enchanted forrest. The 3rd floor of the shop was opened and turned into a flower field where we were treated to delicious tarts and an authentic Thai hand massage.

Thank you Sretsis for this wonderful day at the Inn ♥
