Catching up on runway looks from Tokyo Fashion Week two weeks ago.
Two weeks ago actually already feels like a little eternity when I think of all the things that happened in between, but it looks as if things will finally calm down a little bit.
I was incredibly happy to be able to see this collection up close this time around, as Christian Dada only showed it’s first entire collection of women’s wear earlier this year in Tokyo and after showing a rebellious and biker chic collection of men’s wear in Paris, everyone seemed to be especially hyped about seeing the next women’s collection.
The collection itself was dominated by wide and flowing silhouettes combined with romantic elegance which reminiscences of the new freedom of the 70s while celebrating the power of the metropolitan woman.
My personal highlight were the rose bags, shown in red and black! But see for yourself!
